Ward & Bed Management System

The system supports relevant routines. For example, in the ER, it covers the entire workflow—from triage using the ESI level system to doctor examinations, specialist consultations, and patient discharge or admission.

Operation Theatre and Appointment Scheduler

Complete integrated Operating Theatre and Appointment Scheduler ensures seamless coordination of surgeries and outpatient appointments. It enables real-time scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination between medical teams, reducing downtime and improving patient flow. Users can easily ensure that surgeries are scheduled efficiently by tracking surgeon availability, operating room occupancy, and equipment needs.

The system supports the integration of clinical pathways according to the specific requirements of each hospital and is available through an add-on module. 

The system supports structured and systematic processes used by nurses to provide patient care. It is a written guide issued by physicians that outlines a patient’s health concerns, nursing diagnoses, interventions, and expected outcomes.

The system supports this functionality, however, it utilizes LIS “Barcode Print Spooler” module for printing labels for laboratory specimens.

The system supports this functionality. Moreover, for consultations, it can send SMS and email notifications to the personnel responsible and provides a Consultation Request Management screen for remote departments.

The system allows doctors to enter instructions for nurses regarding patient care.

The system supports closed loop medication process, including prescription, dispensing and administration of medication, providing the required documentation. 

The system supports customizable routines for Pharmacy Dispensing and transmits the relevant information to the ERP module (inventory, purchasing, etc.) as well as to the integrated billing module.

The system offers a wide range of predefined documents, such as documentation for patients in the ER & triage, surgical reports, etc.

In addition to Ward & Bed Management of the ICU, Synbiotix’ s EPR offers intubated indicator and care/health progression tracking.

For over 20 years, the business supported NHS Trusts and Health Boards with technology that helps run essential day-to-day services.

In early 2026, the Synbiotix UK business was sold. SBX Solutions continues the HIS/EMR business and team, with a dedicated focus on Cyprus, Greece, and the Middle East. Building on proven deployments in Cyprus, SBX Solutions is investing in product development, implementation capability, and customer support to meet the needs of the region’s healthcare providers.
